Partner Plan

The name of the partner plan.

Deactivate When enabled, allows you to deactivate a partner. If the Deactivate button remains disabled when you select a partner, the partner cannot be deactivated. If you select multiple partners and the button remains disabled, that usually means one or more selected partners cannot be deactivated.
Change Plan When enabled, allows you to choose a plan for a partner.
Choose a Plan Select a partner plan from the list. Partners can only be associated with a single partner plan at any given time. The list only shows those partners plans that are deployed and currently active within the current time frame. If a partner plan has not been deployed or is set to be active in a time frame outside the current day, it will not show up in this list.

How to deactivate a partner

  1. Select Catalog, select Pricing & Plans, and then click Manage Partners.
  2. Complete the fields under Search and Filters, then click Search Search. The results appear in the Partners list.
  3. To deactivate one or more partners from the Partners page, select the checkbox next to each partner you want to deactivate or select the checkbox next to the Account ID column header to select all partners, and then click Deactivate.
  4. Confirm you want to deactivate the selected partners. When you deactivate a partner:

    • Their status changes to inactive, and they can no longer access the partner plant or make a purchase.
    • The system sends an email to the partner, notifying them that they are no longer active.

How to change a partner's plan

  1. Select Catalog, select Pricing & Plans, and then click Manage Partners.
  2. Complete the fields under Search and Filters, then click Search Search. The results appear in the Partners list.
  3. To change the plan for one or more partners from the Partners page, select the checkbox next to each partner whose plan you want to change or select the checkbox next to the Account ID column header to select all partners, and then click Change Plan. The Change Partner Plan window appears.
  4. From the Choose a Plan list, choose the plan you want to associate with the partner.
  5. Click Save. The Plan column on the Partners page displays the new plan for the partner. When you change the plan associated with a partner, note the following:

    • When you change the partner plan associated with a partner, the system assigns the partner to the tier (sales level) in the new partner plan that most closely resembles their purchase behavior in the previous full month.
    • If the partner does not have any purchase behavior in the previous month, the system assigns them to the lowest tier in the partner plan.

Example: Imagine you are assigning a partner to a new partner plan that has three unit-based tiers (bronze: 1-5 units, silver: 6-10 units, and gold: 11-infinity units). If that partner purchased seven units of products during the last full calendar month in their previous plan, they would be assigned to the second sales level named "silver" in the new partner plan. If the partner had purchased 13 units, they would be assigned to the "gold" level, and so on.
