Managing partner plans
Use Partner Plans to create and manage plans for your partners.

Partner Plans attributes
Attribute | Description |

Internal Name |
The name of the partner plan as it appears in Global Commerce. The internal name appears as a reference in reports. Note: Partners will not see the partner plan's internal name. |

Partner Plans legend

- Select Catalog, select Pricing & Plans, and then click Manage Partner Plans.
- Complete the fields under Search and Filters, then click Search . The results appear in the Partner Plans list.
- Verify a checkmark icon appears next to the partner plan you want to deploy. If a warning icon appears, there are deployment errors that you must fix before you deploy the partner plan.

Choose one of the following options to deploy partner plans:
- To deploy a partner plan from the Edit Partner Plan page, click the link under ID in the Partner Plans list, click Deploy Plan on the Edit Partner Plan page.
- To deploy one or more partner plans from the Partner Plans page, select the checkbox next to each partner plan you want to deploy or select the checkbox next to the ID column header to select all partner plans, and then click Deploy.
The Status changes to Deployed. Partners can now access the partner plan based on your defined rules.
When you no longer need a partner plan, you can retire it. A retired partner plan is no longer active. When a partner tries to access a retired partner plan, they will receive a message stating that the partner plan is no longer active.
To retire a partner plan:
- Select Catalog, select Pricing & Plans, and then click Manage Partner Plans.
- Complete the fields under Search and Filters, then click Search . The results appear in the Partner Plans list.
- Select the checkbox next to each partner plan you want to retire or select the checkbox next to the ID column header to select all partner plans.
- Click Retire and then click Yes. Once retired, partners can no longer access the partner plan or make a purchase from the partner plan.
To unretire a partner plan:
- Select Catalog, select Pricing & Plans, and then click Manage Partner Plans.
- Complete the fields under Search and Filters, then click Search . The results appear in the Partner Plans list.
- Select Retired from the Status list, complete the fields under Search and Filters, then click Search to find the retired partner plans.
- Click the link under the ID column for the partner plan you want to change. The Edit Partner Plan page appears.
- Click the Edit button to create a Design version of the partner plan. The status changes to Design.
- Apply any needed changes to the partner plan, save it, and then deploy it.
You can make a copy of an existing partner plan and then modify the copy as needed to create another partner plan for your site. Copied partner plan is saved in Design state, and prefixed with the words "Copy of" so you can easily identify the copied partner plan when viewing the Partner Plans page.
- Select Catalog, select Pricing & Plans, and then click Manage Partner Plans.
- Complete the fields under Search and Filters, then click Search . The results appear in the Partner Plans list.
- Select the checkbox next to each partner plan you want to copy or select the checkbox next to the ID column header to select all partner plans.
- Click the Copy button to copy the partner plan. The system copies the private and refreshes the screen to display the copied partner plan. Note that the name of the copied partner plan includes "Copy of" at the beginning of the name.
