Importing and exporting email domains

Use the Import and Export Email Domains tool to manage email domains in bulk. Use the tool to export a blank template to create new email domains or export a spreadsheet of existing email domains and edit them, and then import the email domains to the system.

View Export Job Queue View Export Job Queue Allows you to view the Export Jobs queue. See Job queue for more information.
View Import Job Queue View Import Job Queue Allows you to view the Import Jobs queue. See Job queue for more information.

Requirement: To enable the Import and Export for email domains, you must create a Private Store with the Email Domain activation type.

How to export email domains

  1. Select Catalog and click Job Queue. The Job Queue page appears.
  2. Under Export Email Domains, select a Private Store from the Private Store list.
  3. Select a microstore from the Microstore list.
  4. Select one of the following options from Export Options:

    • Select Blank Template to export a blank template spreadsheet. You can enter the email domains in the spreadsheet and import the spreadsheet later.
    • Select All Email Domains to export a spreadsheet of all email domains. You can edit the email domains and import the spreadsheet later.
  5. Click Export. The system prompts you to open or save the spreadsheet (XLS or XLSX) file.

How to import email domains

  1. Select Catalog and click Job Queue. The Job Queue page appears.
  2. Under Import Email Domains, select a Private Store from the Private Store list.
  3. Select a microstore from the Microstore list.
  4. Click Choose File next to the File field and select the spreadsheet (XLS or XLSX) file with the email domains you want to import. Unsupported Characters: / ? < > : * | " ^
  5. Type a name for the import job in the Job Name field. You use this name to track the import in the Job Queue.
  6. Choose one of the following Action options to define how you want to import email domains:

    • Add to Current List—Append email domains in the file to the existing list.
    • Delete from Current List—Remove the email domains in the file from the current list.
  7. Click Import.
