Deploy Products
The Deploy Products page contains two tabs from which you can view all undeployed products and your recently deployed products.
Deploying a product means pushing the product to your store where shoppers can see and purchase the product. If you do not deploy a product after you create it, shoppers will not see the product in your store.
When you apply changes to a deployed product, the system will notify you the changes are applied automatically to the live product in your store. If you do not get a notification that the changes were applied automatically to your deployed product, you must redeploy the product when you are done changing it.
Note: If a product uses the product lifecycle setting, you can still deploy the product, but that product will not be available in your store until the product start date. See Product Lifecycle for more information.

You can modify a product in the Design state and then redeploy the product to your store.
Live changes
When you edit a deployed product, some changes automatically (and almost immediately) appear in your store (without redeploying the product). These are "live changes" and will you see a warning message when you change or save a product in the Product Editor.
The following list summarizes the actions that prompt a live change to the product in your store:
- Adding or removing a category assignment for a product.
- Enabling, disabling, or modifying digital rights settings.
- Adding, editing, or removing pricing.

Deployment warnings and errors
When working with a product, you may see messages at the top of the page about errors or missing information for the product. These messages are called "deployment warnings" and "deployment errors." They let you know if you set up your product correctly.
Note: You can deploy products with warnings. However, we recommend that you fix all warning errors before you deploy the product. If you deploy a product with errors, the product may not appear or function as expected.
You can also see errors and warnings on the Undeployed Changes tab on the Deploy Products page.
Deployment warnings appear when there is a problem with you set up the product. A warning error is not so severe that it affects a shopper’s ability to purchase the product in your store.
Deployment warnings appear in a yellow box with an exclamation mark.
A deployment error indicates a major setup issue with the product that will likely affect the sale and fulfillment of the product in your store. You cannot deploy products with deployment errors until you fix all errors. This prevents you from deploying a product that will fail to sell correctly in your store.
Deployment errors appear in a red box with an exclamation mark.
