Managing my information
Use the My Information page to manage the settings and preferences for your user account in Global Commerce.
Personalized settings attributes
The system resets the following settings when you clear your personalized settings:
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Recent Items | Recent Items appear in the menu and the dashboard. When you clear your personalized settings, the system resets both areas, and all previous recent items disappear. |
Bookmarks | You can bookmark pages that you use most often for quick access from the dashboard and toolbar. When you clear your personalized settings, the system removes all of your bookmarks. |
Home Page Pod Layout and Order | You can customize the order of the pods on the dashboard, as well as hide those you use less often. When you clear your personalized settings, the system resets the changes you applied to the dashboard so all the pods will appear open and in their default location on the page. |
Search and Filter Settings | The Search and Filters pane remembers whether you opened or close the pane on all list pages where it appears. When you clear your personalized settings, all Search and Filters panes on the list pages will be open by default. |
Locale and Product Settings | When you view and edit an existing product, the locale and Product Settings you chose to view will appear by default when you first view the product. When you clear your personalized settings, the system clears those defaults settings. |
Search Settings | The Search tool is available in the primary toolbar in the upper right area of each page. Use it to quickly search for products, offers, users, and orders. When you use the Search tool, the system saves the options you chose based on your last search. When you clear your personalized settings, the system resets those selections so that you have to choose these options again. |

How to clear your personalized settings
To clear your personalized settings:
Important: Only clear your personalized settings when you want all your settings to revert to their default values.
- Click your login name in the upper-right corner of the window. The My Information page appears.
- Click Clear Personalized Settings. An alert appears when you clear your settings. When you clear your personalized settings, the settings revert to their default values.
How to change your contact information
To change your contact information:
- Click your name in the upper-right corner of the window. The My Information page appears.
- Complete the fields under Contact Information and click Save.
How to change your Global Commerce password
To change your Global Commerce password:
- Click your name in the upper-right corner of the page. The My Information page appears.
- Click Change Password under Password information. The Change Password dialog appears.
- Complete the fields in the Change Password dialog and click Save.
